Sweet Paxxie

Paxxie has gone to be with the angels. She was definitely an angel here on earth and will be sorely missed.

These are the applique projects I'm working on. I love them but whew! are they ever time consuming! I'm on block number 4 right now. There's 9 blocks in all, but I may not do them all and come up with a different arrangement--not sure. I just have so many projects going!

Today was Memorial Day--kind of sad after visiting my mom and dad's graves. We had the family over for dinner--complete with cookout and all. It was nice to have Wes, Agnes, and Amber here with us.

This is one of the latest quilts I completed. It's a stack'n'whack I made at a quilt camp in Fort Smith, AR. I'm glad to get another one off my UFO list!

Today I'm completing the quilt I made for my friend Deanne. It's for her new grandbaby, Isabella. I'm sewing the label on the back tonight and then sending it off in the next day or two. It was lots of fun to make and really nice to get the label made so it'll be officially completed.

Sofie and Livie

We just returned from a visit with our granddaughters, Sofie, 3, and Livie, 1. They are just the best! We did lots of playing and had tons of fun, as you can see.

Today was our wedding anniversary--33 years of wedded mostly bliss. I bought and set up a new digital frame for Dave and he bought me my initial "C" for my charm bracelet. We ran into Wes and Amber when we were out to dinner and they bought us a drink to celebrate.

I worked in my quilt room today for a couple of hours (pure bliss!) Kinsey was up on her little perch watching the birds and squirrels. I decided she's my BCFF--the canine in her makes her even better than most forever friends!

That's all for today. Tomorrow's dinner with the family so probably not much time in the sewing room. I'm fixing turkey meatloaf, rice pilaf, sugar snap peas and carrots, and a salad with rolls.
